The Monroe Feed and Supply Co. has purchased the property on North Paul Street and now occupied by the Polen family. The company plans to raze the frame structure early next year and replace with a concrete block warehouse, surrounded by parking space for patrons.

Antioch High School commencement exercises will be held May 17 at 8:00 o’clock at the Methodist Church in Antioch. Class roll is comprised of Thelma Fluharty, Valedictorian; Wilbert Byers, Salutatorian; Emmit Cline, Paul Lee Covert, Ester Edinger, Clarence Lude, Mary Weddle and George West.

At a meeting last Thursday, Clarington citizens were told that the Route 7 location through the town when widened to 48 feet will necessitate the removal of the former bank and three to four residents.

The Woodsfield Senior Class will present “Life of the Party” April 30 at the high school. The large cast includes Linda Baker, Jim Keevert, Carol Secrest, Charles Helbling, Helena Hartline, Jane Hines, Pat Yoss, Paul Keylor, Delvin Wiggins and Barbara Highman.
