The Black Walnut Festival was well attended. Did you know there was a tractor ride on which twenty some men on their tractors left the fairgrounds at 9:45 a.m. and returned at 6:45 p.m. after traveling the back roads (as much as possible) to Kiedasch Point and back to the fairgrounds? There was also a parade, antique tractor pull, truck and tractor pulls, an auction, a tractor show, wagon ride around the grounds, apple butter making, food and many local vendors and more.
Dustin Nippert has returned home for winter break, after his baseball season with the Bears in Korea.
Elmer and Elvira Datkuliak and Ila Turner visited with their Aunt Oma Freeman at Beacon House in St. Clairsville. Oma had her 95th birthday on Oct. 22.
