The Beallsville Lady Blue Devils volleyball team saw their season come to an end against Frontier in Division IV tournament play at Lore City. The team was swept out by the Cougars in a three set to none loss (9-25, 16-25, 13-25). Before the loss, the Lady Blue Devils were able to advance to the second round with a strong victory over Bridgeport (25-22, 25-10, 25-18).

The Beallsville Blue Devils football squad continued their second-half tear with a resounding 48-6 victory over Paden City on Friday night. After beginning the season with several losses, the Blue Devils now have a chance to finish the season 5-5 with a win this Friday against St. John Central.

As always, quarterback Teryn Jarret had a strong effort. The senior signal caller had a near perfect performance under center, completing 10 of 13 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Catching passes were Drew Tubaugh (four receptions for 90 yards and two TDs), Mikey Palmer (three receptions for 37 yards),  Robert Valentine (three catches for 31 yards) and DJ Lucas (one catch for a 47 yard TD).
