Don’t worry about not being understood, but rather about not understanding.
Humility is the state caused by suddenly shrinking to our normal proportions.
Snow before the spooks come around? What kind of a winter are we going to have? I had someone tell me we were in for another mild winter just yesterday. I wake up during the night and the ground is covered with snow.
Sandy has done much, much damage in a number of areas east of us. We have been fortunate so far. I can only guess what it would be like to go through what has happened in some areas. We complain when our power goes off for a couple of hours.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are now 9-0 looking for number 10. I just can’t help it. Go Bucks!
Our River team made it to the state playoffs. I hope they keep playing. It was quite an accomplishment. No home field and playing all their games away from home. What can you say except, Go Pilots!
Something you might not want to miss. I understand the American Legion will be honoring veterans with a special program on Nov. 11 at St. Paul’s Church. This is the second year for the program. I understand the Monroe Singers, the church choir, the Dixie Land Band will have music to enjoy. This event would not be complete unless Bob Welch shares some of the poems he has written. He will be there. Honor our veterans. I expect more accurate info is planned.
