The Monroe County District Library recently received a donation from Joe and Anita Lestini, their sons Brian and Gregory, and families. The Lestinis donated a framed picture of three children reading a book together in memory of their long-time  friend, Mary Lee Williamson Graham.

The picture was accompanied by a plaque reading, “In Loving Memory of Mary Lee Williamson Graham Who Loved the Library and Loved Children”.

The Lestinis, who own Bellwood Drugs, reminiscenced about the days when they first took over the drug store. Before Joe and Anita came along, the store was known as Finnical Drugs, and Mary Lee was an employee.

“Mary became like a sister to me,” said Anita as she and Joe recalled how much Mary Lee helped them in the beginning. All together, Mary dedicated forty-five years of her life to the drug store.
