The Trick or Treaters have come and gone, total five. Marietta Times had an article about superstitions. One was about a broom. Never take your old broom with you when moving. Throw it out and buy a new one. If you sweep under someone’s feet, they will never marry. Don’t sweep dirt out the front door after sunset or bad luck will visit.
The sightseers, motorcycles, the beautiful sports cars and etc. really enjoy our SR 26 also known as National Forest Covered Bridge Scenic Byway.
Westwood Assisted Living at Woodsfield held their monthly family night Oct. 25.
Ruth Weddle Piatt enjoyed a time of reminiscence with cousins in New Matamoras; descendants of David Heddleson.
Visiting with Foster and Wilma Whitacre were Forrest Rose of Zanesville and Lester Rose of Ashland, N.C.
