At the beginning of this 2012-13 school year we conducted our first informal meeting to elect our FFA officers. Our president this year, symbolized by the rising sun, was chosen to be Jeff Martin, a senior member. Next our vice president, symbolized by the plow, is Benny Van Meter, also a senior member. Represented by the ear of corn, the secretary is Morgan Thomp-son, a junior member. Aaron Love, a junior member, is the sentinel. The sentinel is represented by the shield of friendship and his job is to guard the door at meetings and take the position of any missing officer. And, last but not least, a new position this year, historian. The job of the historian is to keep records and pictures of all meetings, social event, outings, etc. that our FFA chapter is involved in. We would like to congratulate all 2012-13 FFA officers for their commitment to agriculture.
