Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Regrets of the past and fear of the future eclipse the of the present. How about that? No more Twinkies. Can you believe it? I never got to eat a deep fried Twinkie. They say they were good eating. My problem is when I start thinking about deep fried I think of a dill pickle and I haven’t had one of those for a while. The doctor claims they are salty. I hope you had a thankful Thanksgiving. I read a question the other day that gave me some thought. The question asked how many M&Ms would you eat if you thought of something you were thankful for with each M&M? I expect most of us would have a fair size bag of M&Ms to do this. Our family for years would get together for Thanksgiving; now we just celebrate with our own little family. As I write, I think we’re going to have a dinner because I’m kind of sure I heard a turkey gobbling in our refrigerator a few days ago. I also remember Thanksgiving was the time of year when we butchered our hogs. Plenty of help around. It was also another treat with a good mess of liver and onions. It’s called eating high on the hog. I forgot something when I was writing about Twinkies. You twinkie eaters have heart. I read where probably some company will take over and you’ll still be able to buy Twinkies. To read the rest of this article please subscribe or sign in |
