Matamoras Area Senior Citizens held the annual show & tell antique show on Nov. 15. You name it; we saw it! Happy Thanksgiving one week later. Some guests at the home of Tyler & Tiffany Schumacher, newlyweds of Woodsfield, were parents, Pringle & Schumacher, grandparents, Isaly, Robison, Dye, Antill, sisters, Lauer, Schumacher, Ferguson & families, aunts & uncles, Mendenhall, Rinard, Antill, cousins, Antill, Rinard, Kilburn, Thompson. There will be more who visited on Thanksgiving. The newsletter is due the day after Thanksgiving, so the above is projected as in election day. A Johnny-Jump-Up bloomed in the yard on November 12 for Dale & NJ. The New Mat Red Hat Society met November 8 at the Senior Center for the monthly meeting. Queen Sheila Langsdorf welcomed our invited guests, the Victorian Rose Red Had Society from the Midway area. This was a Civil War Tea Party. Each gal introduced themselves by bringing their favorite tea cup with a story. They received a tea cup cozy made by our own Martha Lindsley, the nimble finger gal that makes beautiful crochet items.
