The Beallsville Blue Devils’ boys basketball team put up a valliant effort in the first game on their new floor under new Head Coach Casey Tolzda, but they came up short in a 60-56 loss to Bridgeport. Beallsville was able to pull ahead 45-42 going into the fourth quarter but couldn't resist a Bridgeport blitz in the fourth quarter before falling.

Beallsville was led by three players in double figures. Teryn Jarrett led the way with 19 points and five rebounds. Kyle Groves had an equally impressive game with 18 points and six rebounds. Also hitting double figures was Logan Nippert (15 points) while Tristen Palmer rounded out the scoring (four points). Although he did not score, Dalton Secrest contributed heavily with seven rebounds and four assists.
