The Beallsville Blue Devils varsity boys basketball team had their schedule face the wrath of winter weather this week. Their only game came on Dec. 28 against Union Local.

In a close game, the Blue Devils ultimately fell short by a score of 61-54. With only six players getting on the floor, the scoring effort was very balanced.

Leading the team in scoring was Teryn Jarrett with 17 points to go with his six rebounds and five assists. Tristen Palmer added 12 points and eight rebounds while Chase Mercer scored nine and Logan Nippert put in eight. Rounding out the scoring was Dalton Secrest who scored six points and had five rebounds, and Kyle Groves who scored two points.
