Timely good deeds are nicer than afterthoughts. Life is hard by the yard but by inch by inch, its a cinch.
I expect you know this, but I’m going to tell you anyway. The reason it is good luck to eat pork on New Year’s day is if you know pigs like to root and they always root forward. Eat pork and things will go forward during the year. As you probably know, chickens like to scratch and throw everything backward. Eat chicken and have bad luck. Now you know.
I sometimes wonder about some women. Have a couple or three warm days even in the middle of winter. Something must snap or explode. The lady of our household started doing things around the house as though it’s spring cleaning time. Right now she is putting up some curtains she washed and dried and ironed. I just don’t understand and I’m sure she didn’t have a shot of that five hour energy drink. I think I need that. I’m not complaining, just wondering.
Sometimes you do things that you thought might never happen to you. It happened when I got back home from the hospital where I learned a minute can last for thirty or more minutes and sometimes longer. I’m not sure who is responsible, but it happened. I think it was one of those close by that tells old people what to do.
I’m not a very good shopper for groceries. I pick out what I like and pay little attention to anything else. For example, I’ve walked by the area where yogurt is placed many times without a thought. Actually with a name like Yoplait yogurt, I thought it was made from goat milk and made mostly for women.
