Common Pleas Cases (Dec. 2012/Jan. 2013)

In the case of Katrina Jobes vs. Lucas Robertson, Case #2012-381, the within matter came before the Court on Nov. 30, 2012 for a full hearing on the Domestic Violence Protection Order, Ex Parte, as filed on Nov. 15, 2012. Jobes appeared and was unrepresented by counsel. Robertson appeared and was represented by counsel. Based upon the statements on the record of Jobes and counsel for Robertson, the within matter was dismissed in entirety, effective Nov. 30, 2012.

State of Ohio vs. Harvey Don Jeffers, Case No. 2012-327. Jeffers withdrew his former not guilty plea and entered a plea of guilty to one count of theft, a fifth degree felony and one count of attempted burglary, a third degree felony.  A sentencing hearing will be set upon the pre-sentence investigation.

State of Ohio vs. Tony D. Grelles, Case No. 2011-390,  appeared with his attorney present for a sentencing hearing on Dec. 3, 2012  in Common Pleas Court. On Sept. 11, 2012, Grelles entered a plea of guilty on two (2) counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor,  fourth degree felonies. For one (1) count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, Grelles is to be placed on Community Control Sanctions for a three (3) year period under the supervision of the Adult Parole Authority. For one (1) count unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, Grelles is to be placed on Community Control Sanctions for a three(3) year period under the supervision of the Adult Parole Authority.  Defendant's sentences shall run concurrent with one another.

State of Ohio vs. Paul M. Schell, Case No. 2012-448, Lewisville.  Schell appeared in Common Pleas Court  Dec. 18, 2012 for on two weapons  under disability third degree felonies. He entered a plea of not guilty and Schell was ordered to post $10,000 personal recognizance bond. Jury trial is set for June 24.

State of Ohio vs. Sheila K. Clark, Case No. 2012-260, Cameron, withdrew her former not guilty plea and entered a plea of no contest to one (1) count theft of drugs, a fourth degree felony. A sentencing hearing will be set upon the pre-sentence investigation.

State of Ohio vs. Dustin S. Woodrum, Case No. 2012-176, Woodsfield, withdrew his former plea of not guilty and entered a guilty plea to one (1) count of possession of heroin, a fifth degree felony and one (1) count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony.  In return for such guilty pleas, the State will dismiss the remaining count of the indictment. A sentencing hearing will be set upon the pre-sentence investigation.

State of Ohio vs. Paul W. Hendershot, Case No. 2012-443, New Matamoras,  appeared for arraignment without counsel on Dec. 21, 2012  for one (1) count breaking and entering, a fifth degree felony and (1) count theft, a first degree misdemeanor. Hendershot entered a not guilty plea. Jury trial is set for June 24.

State of Ohio vs. Katrina L. Jobes, Case No. 2012-444, Jerusalem, appeared for arraignment with counsel on Dec. 21, 2012 on one (1) count perjury, a third degree felony. A not guilty pleawas entered. Jury trial is set for June 24.
