As we head into the second semester here in the Agriculture Mechanics program, we have certainly been busy. Although we have completed several projects, we have also had several more brought in. Secretary Morgan Thompson has been busy going to several meetings such as the Soil and Water Conservation, the Ruritan, and the Farm Bureau, advocating for the Swiss Hills FFA chapter. Morgan also represented the Swiss Hills Career Center, wearing official dress, at the school board meeting in December.
In our relative class, we are going over diesel engines and injection systems. Book work combined with hands-on investigation helps the students understand the workings of the machines better than if they were to only read it out of a book.
