Shadyside’s Kelsey Holloway scorched the nets with 22 first half points as the Lady Panthers sprinted out to a 51-40 lead at intermission.  But, the Mountaineers would not go away. The game was tight throughout the second half and OUE led by only one at 86-85 with 26 ticks left until Holloway got free for a layup and an 88-85 margin.

Following a WVUP miss, St. John’s alum Natalie Perzanowski swished two free throws for the final score.  Holloway led OUE with 27 points and 8 steals.  Beallsville’s Julie Bilyeu and Shadyside’s Sarah Neavin scored 18 points each, while Perzanowski added 15 points and 6 assists.  Bilyeu also grabbed a game high of 12 rebounds.  Jessica Moore paced WVUP with 37 points.  OUE improved to 17-6.
