The Pilots started their week, on Tuesday, February 12th, with the OVAC boys semi-final game at Magnolia. River led 15-12 at the conclusion of the first quarter, but the Blue Eagles bounced back to take a 27-26 lead at the half.  River was still in the game as the fourth quarter opened with River trailing 45-38. Ultimately, River fell short, being outscored in the fourth quarter for a 72-45 final.

Brett Price and Cody Caldwell led the team in scoring with 12 points each. Price had 6 boards and 2 assists, while Caldwell had 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Kam Brown led the team in rebounds with 7 boards. Matt Marconi contributed 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Jordan Indermuhle scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Chad Isaly rounded off the scoring column with 2 successful free throws.

On Friday, February 15th, River played host to the Seminoles of Monroe Central for the OVAC consolation game. The Pilots jumped out to an early lead, but Monroe Central nailed a three-quarter court shot at the buzzer to bring the first quarter tally to 19-10. The second courter was tight with a 37-29 River lead at the half. The Pilots had another 19-point quarter in the third to extend the lead to 56-38. River won by a 73-49 final.

With this win, the Pilots finished the OVAC AAA tournament in third place, while Monroe Central took the fourth place position.
