4-H Shooting Sports Club Starts Spring Season

The Monroe County 4-H Shooting Sports Club will begin their spring shooting sports season on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00 in the Old Cameron School in Cameron. Parents and youth will have an opportunity to meet the instructors, hear an overview of the program and complete enrollment information. The 4-H certified shooting education instructors will offer archery, riflery, pistol, shotgun, and muzzle loading.

The Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports program is an educational component offering positive youth development under the direction of certified adult volunteers. The program teaches safe and responsible use of firearms and archery equipment including sound decision-making, self-discipline and concentration. The club is open to any youth ages 9-19.
