2013 Advertising Rates and Information

• Rates are based on a per column inch basis.

-We do not accept display ads that are less than 3 total column inches.

• Deadlines:

-Beacon:  Noon on Friday of the week prior to publication

-Sentinel: Noon on Tuesday of the week prior to publication

• Column Sizes:

-1 Column  = 1.75 inches -2 Columns = 3.611 inches

-3 Columns = 5.472 inches -4 Columns = 7.384 inches

-5 Columns = 9.262 inches -6 Columns = 11.125 inches

• Open Rates:

-Monroe County Beacon ... $9.50 per column inch

-Monroe County Sentinel ... $10.25 per column inch

-Beacon/Sentinel Combo ... $13.90 per column inch

• National Rates:

-Beacon ... $12.73 pci

-Sentinel ... $13.74 pci

-Combo ... $18.63 pci

• Pre-print Insertion Rates

All pre-print rates are open rate.  For contract rates, call the Beacon office.
