NOTICES OF INTENT TO DECLARE

LEASES FORFEITED

PURSUANT TO ORC 5301.332

Notice is hereby given to The Carter Oil Company, its successors or assigns, including but not limited to Exxon Mobil Corp., that an Affidavit of Forfeiture will be filed after 30 days from today’s date if a certain Oil and Gas Lease covering tax parcel 24-018007.0000, containing 103.9 acres, more or less, situated in the Northwest and Northeast quarters of Section 4, Township 5, Range 5, Sunsbury Township, being the County of Monroe, State of Ohio, is not released of record within 30 days from today’s date.  Said Oil and Gas Lease is dated the 4th day of December, 1907 and is recorded in Lease Book Volume 52, Page 381 in the Office of the Recorder in the County of Monroe, State of Ohio.  Said Oil and Gas Lease was made by and between Joshua Truax, single, as lessor, and The Carter Oil Company, as lessee.  Said Oil and Gas Lease will be declared forfeited and void due to expiration of said lease and because there are no producing or drilling oil or gas wells on leased premises pursuant to said lease.

Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 5301.332

STATE OF OHIO, COUNTY OF

MONROE, SS:

Kenneth E. Darby, a divorced man, being the owner of 6 acres, more or less, located in Monroe County, Sunsbury Township, situated in Section 17, Township 5, Range 5, further described as Parcel ID 24-013016.0000, hereby gives notice of his intention to declare the following oil and gas leases herein described forfeited pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 5301.332 for the following reasons: The original lessees and their successors or assigns have failed and neglected to comply with specifically described covenants provided for in the leases. Further, the terms of the leases have expired and there are no producing or drilled oil and gas wells on the leased premises.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO DECLARE LEASE FORFEITED

Notice is hereby given to The Fisher Oil Company and its successors and assigns, that if a Release is not filed of record, an Affidavit of Forfeiture will be filed after thirty days from today’s date regarding a certain Oil and Gas Lease covering tax parcel 24-011006.0000, containing 45.5 acres, situated in Section 5, Township 5, Range 5, being the Township of Sunsbury, County of Monroe, State of Ohio. Said Oil and Gas Lease is dated April 29, 1904 and is recorded in Lease Book Volume 45, page 637 in the Office of the Recorder in the County of Monroe, State of Ohio. Said Oil and Gas Lease will be declared forfeited and void due to expiration of said lease and because there are no producing or drilling oil or gas wells on leased premises pursuant to said lease.

BARBARA ANN HAMILTON VS. JAMES W. YOHO AND ROSEMARY YOHO ET AL., CASE NO. 2014-242 NOTICE BY PUBLICATION

To John Does, Unknown Assigns and Heirs of Louisa Attle Foehrenbach, Unknown Assigns and Heirs of Fredarick (Fritz) Attle, and Unknown Assigns and Heirs of Caroline Attle Diehl, whose last known addresses are unknown; you are hereby notified that you have been named defendant in a legal action entitled Barbara Ann Hamilton, Plaintiff vs. James W. Yoho and Rosemary Yoho, et al., Defendants. This action is pending in the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.

The object of the complaint is to quiet title for Barbara Ann Hamilton for 40 acres of real estate in the Township of Center, Monroe County, Ohio (“the Property”), which is more particularly described in the Warranty Deed dated November 8, 1911 and recorded in Volume 77, Page 365 in the Monroe County Recorder’s Office.

More specifically, the Property is located at the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 12 Township 5, of Range 6, containing 40 acres, more or less.

The prayer of relief sought is to quiet title for the Property in Barbara Ann Hamilton’s name, eliminating any other rights or interests in the land held by any other individual or party.

You are required to answer the complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice which will be published once each week for six successive weeks. The last publication will be made on Aug 28, 2014 and the 28 days for answer will comence on that date.

In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as required by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, judgement by default will be rendered against you for the relieg demanded in the complaint.
