Mr. and Mrs. Chad Bryan Kilburn

Chad Bryan Kilburn and Amy Jean Rinard were united in marriage on June 21, 2014 at the Newport United Methodist Church. Pastor Terry Pringle officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Loren and Tammie Rinard of Newport, Ohio. Amy is the granddaughter of Norma Jean and the late Dale Antill of New Matamoras, the late Denzel and Mabel Rinard, and the great-granddaughter of Franklin Dye of New Matamoras. She is a 2007 graduate of Frontier High School and Washington State Community College, a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a 2011 graduate of Salem International University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She is employed by the Fort Frye Local School District.

The bridegroom is the son of Bryan Kilburn of Lewisville, and Christine Kilburn of Caldwell. Chad is the grandson of Manifred and Kathy Keylor of Woodsfield, Lillie Keylor of Caldwell, Judy and the late Harold Kilburn of Lewisville. He is a 2007 graduate of Monroe Central High School/Swiss Hills Career Center and a 2009 graduate of Hocking College with an Associate Degree in Heavy Equipment Management. He is employed by Artco Group International.

The 70th annual reunion for the descendants of John W. and Clara Ackerman Christman will be held July 27, at Rubel Park, Woodsfield. Dinner around 12:30 p.m. Bring a covered dish, drinks, your own table service, tablecloth, and a hearty appetite.

The Dick/Schoeppner Reunion will be held Aug. 9 at St. Joseph Burkhart community building. A covered dish dinner will be begin at 1 p.m. with a country store, volleyball and a round and square dance at 8 p.m., which will be open to the public. Please bring a covered dish, an item for the country store, your own table service and beverages. All relatives and friends are invited.

Marty Family Reunion will be July 26 at noon at Rubel’s Park.

Harmons Celebrate 60th Anniversary

Don and Jo Ann Harmon, Woodsfield, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 28, 2014. They obtained their marriage license at a courthouse in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, then proceeded to a Baptist Church in Townsend, Tennessee. They knocked on the parsonage door and asked the pastor to marry them then spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. That's how they have led their lives; simple, honest with a Christian demeanor.

Don is the son of the late Campbell and Irene Harmon, Maryville, Tennessee. He is retired from Ormet.

Jo Ann is the daughter of the late Gus and Loche Hunt, Tellico Plains, Tennessee. She is a retired registered nurse from Barnesville Hospital.

The Beardmore Reunion will be July 20, 2014 at Rubel Park, State Route 78 West of Woodsfield. Dinner will be at 1:00 p.m. Please plan to join us for food, fun, and family fellowship. Please bring covered dishes, table cloth, and your own table service along with your own favorite beverages to drink. Anyone wanting to play a game is asked to bring a $2.00 wrapped gift. Please tell all your family to come and join us for this event. Hope to see you all there this year!

The annual English Family Reunion will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Woodsfield Church of Christ Fellowship Building.  Doors open at 2:00 p.m. with dinner at 4:00 p.m.  Please bring a covered dish and your own table service.

The descendents of  David and Peter Weber of Schoenau, Germany, along with families and friends will hold their annual reunion on Saturday July 19. A covered dish lunch will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Lewisville Community Center.
