Donald and Judy Kilburn of Lewisville will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 20. They were married 60 years ago by Rev. J.V.A. Traylor at the home of the bride.
They raised five wonderful children and have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donald has spent most of his time on the farm at Vali-Hi. He loves to fish, hunt, and farm to this day. Although Donald has given up the milking parlor, he keeps busy hauling things for people in his dump truck, mowing, and working his garden. Fishing is his down time, and he always makes the remark, “my worst day of fishing is better than my best day at work”.
Donald is 82 and still enjoys most of the things he did when he was in his prime. Most of all he still loves his wife of 60 years. Along with Donald and, until recently, Judy also spend morning and night milking dairy cattle.
