Vincent (Big Vince) Durl Ross, 68, of LaBelle, Fla., formerly of Clarington, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Lehigh Acres Hospital, Florida.
 He was born January 24, 1956, in Bellaire, Ohio.
 He worked as a heavy equipment operator, liked fishing, hunting, cooking swamp cabbage, and barbecuing for family and friends, also helping his son with landscaping.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Durl Ross and Minnie Miller Butler Ross, both of Clarington, Ohio; two brothers, Bobby Ross (Pennsylvania), Jim Butler (Ohio); two sisters, Elsie Butler Scaglione (Tennessee) and Norma Butler (Ohio).
 He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patti Kay Ross; two sons, Chad Kay Ross, Vincent (Lil Vince), his wife Bianca Burke Ross; daughter (granddaughter), Maci (half pint) Ross; grandchildren, Micha, Alana, Lexie, Blaine, Tristan, Hailee, Taumi, Kadence; three sisters, Betty Ross Kinney, Frances Martha Ross Sitterson Hoebee, Della Ross Poling Leduc (Clarington, Ohio); one brother, Paul Butler (Carrollton, Ohio); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 A celebration of life was held November 9, 2024, at Christ Central Church, Labelle.
