Marian E. Rutherford, 75, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Antioch, passed away August 4, 2025, at her home. She was born in Barnesville, Ohio, August 5, 1949, a daughter of the late Dean Ellis Rutherford and Doris Briggs Rutherford.
 Marian was a 1967 graduate of River High School and Columbus Business University. She was a secretary for both USAir and Waste Management in Columbus, Ohio, for many years and returned back to Antioch and worked as a part-time rural mail carrier. She had attended Woodsfield First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a active member of Midway Community Center.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Rutherford.
 She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Jeanne and Al Lang of Marietta, nephews Aaron Lang, Ben (Chas) Lang, Dwight (Lisa) Lang and Garrett (Caroline) Lang, and great-nieces and -nephews Andrew, Braxton, Colsen, Mollie, Haven, Ella, Declan, and Lilly.
 Friends will be received from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, August 8 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, with Rusty Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Ohio.
