Larry Kevin Williamson, 68, of Sardis, Ohio, and formerly of Tyler County passed away suddenly Monday, September 29, 2025, while at Tygart Center Genesis.

He was born January 21, 1957, in Ohio, son of the late Lewis “Whimp” and Wanda (Bouch) Williamson.

He is survived by his two children, LeAnn Williamson of Fairmont and Boyd Williamson of Middlebourne; his four grandchildren, Layla and Bowden Williamson and their mother, Bobbie Sue George of Middlebourne, Audrey and Andrew Fleece of Fairmont. Larry is also survived by his siblings, Mark Williamson and Elaine Williamson, both of Sardis and Dave (Terri) of Killdevil, N.C.; two brothers-in-law, Jack Parr and Rodney Parr, both of Middlebourne, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Parr Williamson and brother, Michael Williamson.

Larry was a loving grandfather who held his time with his grandchildren close. He enjoyed being artistic, such as painting birdhouses and coloring. Anyone who knew Larry knew his presence was always so positive and uplifting no matter the circumstances. You could find Larry’s room decorated with artwork and pictures of his beloved family. In his spare time, he would seek pleasure in gardening. On the weekends you could find him watching Ohio State, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pirates. Along with his hobbies Larry was an avid patriot who served in the U.S. Navy in his early years. He then worked at PPG in Natrum, W.V., for many years.

Family and Friends were received 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2025, Furbee Williams Funeral Home. Interment followed at Middlebourne Cemetery with military rites.
