Elsie Marie Morris, 85, of Summerfield, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield.

She was born at Piedmont, on Sept. 13, 1936, a daughter of the late Raymond D. Ferguson and Bessie Myrtle Rankin Ferguson.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Quaker City Southern Baptist Church, Quaker City.

She enjoyed quilting, going to church, singing, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis Morris, on July 15, 2011; three sisters, Louise Harding, Betty McMillan and Helen Carpenter; one brother, Floyd Ferguson; a grandson, Brandon Moore and great-granddaughter, Makayla Stottsberry.

Elsie is survived by four daughters, Joyce (Bob) Wade, of Cumberland, Sandy (Rick) McDougal, of Waterford, Darlene Morris, of

Zanesville, Mary Lou (Tim) Miller, of Woodsfield; three sons, Dale Morris, of New York, Don (Carina) Morris, of Summerfield, David Morris; three sisters, Lucille Offutt, of Texas, Zera Wills, of VanCleve, Mississippi, Judy Wehr, of Barnesville; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat-

nieces and nephews.

Friends were received Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating.

Burial followed in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield.
