Steven E. Baker, 66, of St. Clairsville, (formerly of Woodsfield), passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at the Cumberland Pointe Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.

He was born at Canton, on July 11, 1956, a son of the late Ray and Carol Haudenschield Baker.

Steve was a former employee of PEP Drilling Co. in Illinois and was a Methodist by faith. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid sports fan especially fond of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns.

Surviving are one sister, Louise (Wendell) Scarbrough, of Alliance; two nephews, Larry Scarbrough, of Alliance, and Greg Scarbrough, of Canton; and one niece, Heather Sick, of Louisville.

There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch.
