NOTICE BY PUBLICATION
Applicant Gulfport Appalachia, LLC (“Gulfport”) hereby gives notice that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (the “Division”), has scheduled a hearing pursuant to Revised Code Section 1509.28 concerning Gulfport’s Barber Ridge East Unit to occur on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. The hearing will be held via video conference, as set forth below. Gulfport seeks to obtain an Order for Unit Operation from the Chief of the Division as to the Utica/Point Pleasant Formation covering the Barber Ridge East Unit area. This proposed unit area includes lands in Sections 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 31, and 36, Township 6N, Range 6W, Center Township, and
Sections 3, 9, and 15, Township 6N, Range 6W, Malaga Township, all in Monroe County, Ohio. The surface location for the Barber Ridge East Unit will be located in Section 6, Township 6N, Range 6W, Center Township, Monroe County, Ohio, on Parcel No. 04-020001.0000.
Certain tracts in the Barber Ridge East Unit area are owned, in whole or in part, by persons for whom no address can be located. These tracts are described below by reference to their parcel numbers and their owners’ names: (1) Parcel No. 12-019005.0000 – Owners: Unknown Heirs of Henry Buckio, deceased; (2) Parcel Nos. 04-005011.0000, 04-005013.0000, and 04-005001.0000 – Owners: Unknown Heirs of Lorena Mayberry, deceased; (3) Parcel No. 04-017024.0000 – Owners: Unknown Heirs of Catherine M. ROYALITIES, TAX ASSESSMENTS & PENALTIES
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to law, parcels of land certified as delinquent as of the closing date of the past collection period will be published according to law on or about October 27th for the 2022 delinquencies.
It shall be mandatory upon the Auditor to cause a list of the lands on such delinquent land list and duplicate to be published twice. Such notice is in accordance with Section 5721.03 and Section 5721.04 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio.
Notice is also given that, pursuant to House bill 379 which became law on Sept. 21, 1982, an interest charge will accrue on accounts remaining unpaid after the last day of November, unless the taxpayer enters a written undertaking to pay such taxes in installments. If a taxpayer comes in at least two days before publication of the delinquent list and enters an installment-payment plan, that person’s name on the published delinquent land lists is given an asterisk beside it.
