Carol Irene Fisher, 72, of Beallsville, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born June 16, 1950, in Beallsville, a daughter of the late Harley and Ruth Morris Boughner.
Carol was a Registered Nurse and worked at the former State Hospital in Cambridge for many years.
Surviving are two daughters, Kara (Donald) Moats, of Woodsfield, and Lea Fisher, of Beallsville; seven grandchildren, Carah (William) Bayly, Harley Moats, Brittany Jones, Brandon and Bradley Henthorn; Branson Moats and Brady Moats; three great-grandchildren, Makenna, McKenly, and McKaid Bayly; a sister, Marcia Shriver (Karen Richmond); a brother-in-law, Rodney Ray; three nephews, Jeffrey Matoszkia, Jason Shriver, and Robert Ray; her extended family, Jenny Johnson and Jaren Johnson; a former sonin law, Cody Weber; also many friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ray and her aunt, Grace Roberts.
To honor Carol’s life, a visitation with a time for family and friends to share stories and memories, was held Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at the Wilson Funeral Home-Harper Chapel, Beallsville. Interment followed in Beallsville Cemetery.
