Misty Dawn Leasure, 45, Washington, West Virginia, passed away Nov. 17, 2022, from a horrific trailer fire.

Misty was born Dec. 11, 1976, in Marietta, the daughter of Ruth Hendershot Leasure and the late Kenneth Leasure.

She was a graduate of Frontier High School. Misty could light up a room with her smile. She enjoyed going on adventures and spending time in her she shed with her flowers. Misty had a special quote that she loved and tried to live her life by. “Have faith, believe and trust God and mainly never lose hope”.

Survivors other than her mother include the love of her life fiancé, Don Wilt; three children, Stevie Rae Charlene Parsons, Destyni Tierra and Daysha Tiana Hastings; brothers, Jacob Hattle and Andrew Creighton; sister, Michelle (Craig) Lucas; uncle, Greg (Deb) Leasure; aunts, Elizabeth Leasure, Nancy (Terry) Pyles, and very special aunt, Michele “Shelley” Fisher; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandfather, Jack (Nina) Leasure; paternal grandmother, Joe Anne Farnsworth Speece; maternal grandparents, Donald Gene and Sarah Lamp Hendershot; her uncles, Jackie Leasure, Donald Hendershot and Gail Hendershot; and cousins, Michael and Charlie Leasure and Cassie Withrow Leasure.

No service or visitation is planned at this time.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.
