C. Thomas (Tom) Prickett, age 82, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at Lakeland, Florida.

He was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Crown, West Virginia, the son of the late William Marshall Prickett and Flota Blanche Wright Prickett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James W. Prickett and Robert J. Prickett; sister Shirley Jean Prickett Stimpert; and one granddaughter, Kayla Bosick.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Shelly) Prickett and Edward Prickett; one daughter, Linda Prickett (Jerry) Cross; sisters, Sandra Pryor (Dick), Betty Stimpert, Flota King, Donna Warner (George), Wanda Shumacher and Brenda Thompson; two brothers, Burl Prickett and Marshall Prickett; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, at the convenience of the family.
