NOTICE
Seneca Township, Monroe County will be accepting bids for mowing, trimming, and cleaning of stones, at the Calais Cemetery and the entrance to the cemetery. Interested persons, should be 18 years old or older. They must furnish their own mowers, trimmers, and fuel. They will also need to provide proof of insurance and the township is not responsible for any accidents. Flowers are to be removed by April 1, 2023. Bids should be for each mowing, not the entire season, with the trustees having the discretion as to when the cemetery will be mowed. The trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids can be sealed and marked as “mowing bid.” Bids can be mailed to township officer Sherry Lallathin, 28968 State Route 78, Lewisville, Ohio 43754. Contact the trustees with and questions. Deadline for bids to be mailed is March 30, 2023 and the bids will be opened at the April 1, 2023 township meeting.

The Lee Township Trustees will accept sealed bids until 8:00 a.m. on April 3, 2023 for grave diggers in the township cemeteries.
The cemeteries are: Sardis, Mt. Olive, Salem and Mt. Moriah. Bids must list your separate rates for opening and closing the grave and any other fees you may charge.
Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the period beginning April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024. Prices are set for the entire period 2023-2024.
Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability, with Lee Township listed as additional insured, when submitting their bid.

Summit Township, Monroe County will be accepting bids for mowing and trimming of two properties for the spring, summer and fall seasons 2023. The two properties are the Bracken Ridge Cemetery located at 30678 Bracken Ridge Road, Lewisville, OH 43754, and the Denbow Baseball Field located at Lewisville Community Park. Due to local baseball league play, mowing the baseball field will begin in June with date to be determined. Separate bids are required for each property. Interested persons should be at least 18 years old. You must furnish your own equipment and fuel. Proof of insurance will be required of person who is awarded the job and submitted to fiscal officer prior to first mowing. Township is not responsible for accidents. Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids must be received in the office of the fiscal officer no later than end of business day March 31, 2023. Sealed Proposals will be received by the Monroe County Airport Authority in the Administration Building of the Monroe County Airport, 47073 State Route 26, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793 until 3:00 P.M. local time on Friday, April 14, and will be publicly opened and read at that place and time for the following work: Obstruction Removal (Trees), Runway 7/25, including temporary erosion control, temporary airfield control, clearing and grubbing, tree clearing, earthwork, installing erosion control blanket, seeding, topsoiling, mulching, and other associated terms of work.
Digital copies of the Contract Documents containing all the forms and requirements are available to prospective bidders upon request at no charge. Sealed proposals for the Wayne Township Box Culvert Installation Project will be received by the Monroe County Commissioners at their office, 101 North Main Street, Room 34, Woodsfield, OH 43793 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, and then at said time, at said office, they will be opened and read aloud.
