OPWC ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS-MONROE COUNTY
CR9A ROAD IMPROVEMENTS &
CR9A-0.52 SLIP REPAIR
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Monroe County Commissioners, 101 N. Main Street, Room 34, Courthouse, Woodsfield, OH 43793, until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023 for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the projects known as the Monroe County OPWC CR9A Road Improvement Project & CR9A-0.52 Slip Repair, which consists of an H-Piling retaining wall, cement stabilization and paving on Six Points Road, County Road 9A.
The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above said time and place.
Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained at the Monroe County Engineers Office, 47134 Moore Ridge Road, Woodsfield, OH 43793.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provided said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder shall be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation at the time of the bid opening and shall submit certification of said approval and pre-qualifications with bid. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than November 30, 2023.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Monroe County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
The Board of Monroe County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any an all bids.

Sealed proposals for the Sardis Drainage Project, will be received by the Monroe County Commissioners at their office, 101 North Main Street, Room 34, Woodsfield, OH 43793 until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, and then at said time, at said office, they will be opened and read aloud.
Plans, specifications, and bid forms may be secured by contacting Alyssa Stephens, OSU Extension, via email at stephens.967@osu.edu.
Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Monroe County Commissioners or by certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Monroe County Commissioners. A combination bid/performance/payment bond (contract bond) for 100% of the bid amount is acceptable and must conform to Ohio Revised Code Section 153.57.

Unknown Heirs at Law, Devisees, Legatees, Administrators, and Executors of the Estate of Jerry L. Rose, whose present place of residence is unknown, will take notice that on January 30, 2023, U.S. Bank Trust National Association, not in its individual capacity but solely as owner trustee for REO Trust 2017-RPL1, filed its Complaint in Foreclosure in Case No. 2023-033 in the Court of Common Pleas Monroe County, Ohio alleging that the Defendants, Unknown Heirs at Law, Devisees, Legatees, Administrators, and Executors of the Estate of Jerry L. Rose, have or claim to have an interest in the real estate located at 424 Eastern Avenue, Woodsfield, OH 43793, PPN #05-190101.3000 and 05-190102.9000. A complete legal description may be obtained with the Monroe County Auditor’s Office located at 101 North Main St., Room 22, Woodsfield, OH 43793-1097.
The Petitioner further alleges that by reason of default of the Defendant(s) in the payment of a promissory note, according to its tenor, the conditions of a concurrent mortgage deed given to secure the payment of said note and conveying the premises described, have been broken, and the same has become absolute.
The Petitioner prays that the Defendant(s) named above be required to answer and set up their interest in said real estate or be forever barred from asserting the same, for foreclosure of said mortgage, the marshalling of any liens, and the sale of said real estate, and the proceeds of said sale applied to the payment of Petitioner’s claim in the property order of its priority, and for such other and further relief as is just and equitable.
