Gerald Malcom Crawford, 79, of Woodsfield, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at the WVU Camden-Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, West Virginia. 

He was born at Newell, West Virginia, on Dec. 16, 1943, a son of the late George and Leona Huffman Crawford. 

He was a retired operator at the former Conalco Corp., Hannibal. 

Gerald enjoyed golfing, watching sports and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. 

Surviving are one daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Kirkbride, of Woodsfield; one son, Michael Crawford, of Marietta; three brothers, Donnie (Sue) Crawford, of Sardis, Bill (Joan) Crawford, of Hannibal, and Buck (Carolyn) Crawford of Belpre; four grandchildren, Jessica Ady, Amber Kirkbride, Michael Crawford and Brooke Crawford; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield.

Following services, a cremation will take place with inurnment at the convenience of the family at the Moffatt Cemetery near Woodsfield.
