Wanda J. Williamson, age 89, of Sardis, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Arbors of Woodsfield.

She was born May 16, 1934, in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Thomas and May Lee Bouch.

She was a homemaker, a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, Sardis United Methodist Women, Community Welfare Club, USWA Local #5760 Retiree’s, and Sardis Manna Program.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis “Wimp” E. Williamson; a son, Michael E. Williamson; a daughter in law, Lois Williamson; a brother, Ted Bouch; a sister, Donna Sumtheimer and stepsister, Marlene McCloskey.

Survivors include three sons, David (Terri) Williamson, of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, Larry Williamson, of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Mark Williamson, of Sardis; a daughter, Elaine Williamson, of Sardis; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Ken) Beaver and Marilyn (Larry) Boyer; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Family received friends Friday Sept. 30, 2023, at the Grisell Funeral Home, 37234 Mound St., Sardis. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at the Sardis United Methodist Church 37240 Fifth Ave., with Gardner Curtis officiating.

Interment follow in Sardis Cemetery.
