Carol E. Coplan 71, of Woodsfield, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, West Virginia. 

She was born March 19, 1952, in Wadsworth, a daughter of the late William H. and Hilda E. Kenney Coplan.

Carol worked more than 40 years for Riesbeck’s Food Market and was a member of the Goudy Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Coplan, of Woodsfield; brother, Mark (Amie) Coplan, of Woodsfield; grandchildren, Benjamin Childs, of Woodsfield, Tiffany Childs, of Georgia, and Chelsey Coplan, of Elm Grove, West Virginia; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Childs, of Miltonsburg, and Xavier Cook, of Elm Grove, West Virginia.

As per Carol’s request there will be no visitation.

Internment will be at the convenience of the family.
