Peggy Headley

Peggy Headley, 74, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Beallsville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Cumberland Pointe Care Center, St. Clairsville. 

She was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Barnesville a daughter of the late Glen and Lorena Burkhart Mayberry. 

Peggy was a librarian with the Switzerland of Ohio School District, where she had been employed for more than 26 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and also a member of the Beallsville EMS. 

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Mick Headley, and a sister, Eileen Doudna. 

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Pam Headley, of Lebanon, and her daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Loren Ricer, of Belmont; four grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Headley and Raegan and Logan Ricer; sisters, Marty (Paul) McCloud, of Tallmadge, Jean Baker, of Quaker City, Rita Baker, of Barnesville, Lou Burkhart, of Woodsfield; a brother, Bill Mayberry, of Woodsfield; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Carl) Gilbow, of Tallmadge, and Mary Lou Snider, of Akron; several nieces and nephews, including Don and Ruth Headley, of Beallsville; also her extended family, the Datkuliaks of Beallsville. 

Visitation was Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, where funeral services were held Saturday, March 7, 2020, with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial followed in Beallsville Cemetery. Eastern Star services were conducted Friday, March 6, 2020, at the funeral home.
