HAROLD E. LALLATHIN JR.

 Harold E. “Butch” Lallathin Jr., 49, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 due to injuries in a tragic accident.
 Butch was born October 10, 1974, in New Martinsville, W.V. to Harold and Eleanor Ward Lallathin of Laings, Ohio.
 He was a graduate of Washington State Community College, Marietta, Ohio, with an Associate’s Degree in Gas and Diesel Engines; was an employee of Detroit Diesel for 25 years; a faithful member of Woodsfield Church of Christ, where he was a deacon and was a former youth leader.
 Butch enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with friends and most especially his family. If you knew Butch he was blessed with a God given talent to fix anything that was in front of him. He always enjoyed being with his girls and especially being “Pappy” to his granddaughter Ellie.
 He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Luenda Lallathin.
 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Sherry L. (Wiley) Lallathin of Lewisville, Ohio; three daughters, Luenda (Corey) Stollar of Woodsfield, Ohio, Brieanna “Briezy” (Travis) Barker of Pleasant City, Ohio, Alexis “Lexi” (Colton) Koehler of Powhatan Point, Ohio; three sisters, Cindy Lallathin Shipp of Woodsfield, Ohio, Regina (Day) Cooper of Valley Grove, W.V., Ida (Kevin) Weckbacher of Clarington, Ohio; one granddaughter, Elliana Stollar of Woodsfield; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
 Family and friends were received at Woodsfield Church of Christ, 860 Lewisville Road, Woodsfield, Friday, November 3, 2023, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, with Chuck Schultheisz officiating.
 Burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
 Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
