Roy G. Clegg, 82, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at WVU Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, W.V.
 He was born August 16, 1941, in Sardis, son of the late Roy G Glegg and Dorothy Grace (Bolen) Sattler.
 He was a retired boiler maker and a Protestant by faith. Roy was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Waynesburg, Ga., and the Shirer’s of Savannah, Ga., a member of the American Legion and VFW in Sistersville, W.V.
 Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jane Clegg; two daughters, Mindi (Cory) Ludolph of Belmont, Ohio, and Teri Clegg of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Timothy Clegg of Tampa, Fla.; four brothers, Arthur (Cathy) Clegg of Marrietta, Ohio, Charles Clegg of Sardis, Henry (Janet) Clegg of Hannibal, Ohio, Earl (Betty) Clegg of Mansfield, Ohio; two sisters, Wanda (Gary) Gilmore of Sardis and Linda (Marion) Workman of Laings, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
 At Roy’s request there will be no services.
