MILAN T. MATTONE

 Milan T. Mattone, 62, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side March 5, 2024, at his residence.
 He was born January 29, 1962, in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of Lou Ann (Brown) Mattone and the late Maurice Mattone.
 Milan was a retired coal miner at Century Mine and a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Powhatan Point, Ohio. He enjoyed riding side by sides, hunting, spending time with grandkids, woodworking and collecting rocks.
 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Michael Voleck and Charles Yoder.
 He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Bonnie Mattone; a son, Michael (Brittany) Mattone; a daughter Mila Mattone; his mother, Lou Ann Mattone, all of Powhatan Point; two brothers, Michael “Buck” (Denise) Mattone of Powhatan Point and John Mattone of Fredericktown, Ohio; four sisters, Christina (Richard) Smathers of Powhatan Point, Jean Voleck of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Rene Mattone of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Mary Mattone of Proctor, W.V.; five grandchildren, Zachary (Liz Ruthers) McGuire, Kaden (Trinity Chappell) McGuire, RyAnn McGuire, Mikayla Hall and Adley Mattone; one great-grandson, Braxton McGuire; along with several nieces and nephews.
 Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, Ohio, with Larry Darrah officiating.
 Luncheon will follow at Clair Tavern, Clarington.
 Private interment at the convenience of the family.
