H. Rosalie Kappeler, 85, of Brunswick, passed away March 5, 2024.
 She was born on August 5, 1938, in Lewisville, Ohio, to William and Lucinda (Bartenschlag) Pickens.
 She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frederick A. Kappeler.
 Preceding her in death were her parents; and her siblings, Ed Pickens and Edna DeVoe.
 Rosalie received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and her Master’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University, and served as an elementary school teacher at George Washington Elementary School. She was very active at Brunswick United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School superintendent and teacher. Rosalie enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching Jeopardy.
 Rosalie will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
