Powhatan Salt Company, LLC, 6295 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Suite 100, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, (720) 318-9738 is applying to permit a well for the injection of water into the Salina salt beds to create brine for the manufacture of salt products. The location of the proposed injection well is the Powhatan Salt Company LLC No. SALT – 3 SMP #4, parcel number 180040040000 and Latitude 39.791916, Longitude -80.838151 Section 15, Salem Township, Monroe County, Ohio. The proposed well will inject into the Salina Formation at an estimated depth of 6600 to 7000 feet. The average daily injection is estimated to be 23,810 barrels per day and the proposed average daily volume to be withdrawn is 22,857 barrels per day.
