DAVID “DAVEY” LANDEFELD JR.

 David “Davey” W. Landefeld Jr., 51, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
 He was born at Barnesville, Ohio, on May 15, 1973, a son of Joyce Colvin Landefeld who survives of Woodsfield and the late David W. Landefeld.
 Davey was a 1991 graduate of Woodsfield High School and Swiss Hills Vocational School; a partner in 4L Cattle; an agricultural salesman for Baker and Sons Equipment, Lewisville, Ohio; a member of Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield; a member of Stafford Lodge 300 F. & A.M, Stafford, Ohio, and a 30 year member of Monroe County Fair Board. He was also an official for Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League and a founding member of Southeastern Ohio Pulling Series.
 Davey was known around the tractor and truck pulling world as one of the most passionate pulling enthusiast there ever was. He loved to flag at events and he will be greatly missed.
 In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jani Dillon Landefeld, whom he married on May 7, 2022; two sons, Dustin and Mason Landefeld, both of Woodsfield; bonus children, Emma and Ethan Wheeler, both of Woodsfield; one brother, Darin (Misty) Landefeld of Woodsfield; two nieces, Madison (Joe) Morisco, Brooke Frye; two nephews, Dalton Landefeld and Simon Frye; four aunts, Patricia (Mike) Antonik, Beverly Landefeld, Marlene Lattimore, Linda (Bob) Schenk; one uncle, Duane (Barbara) Landefeld; father-in-law, Barney Dillon and sister-in-law, Jodi (Doug) Frye.
 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncles, Darrell Landefeld, Dallas (Dorothy) Colvin, Jack Colvin and Fred (Bernice) Colvin, James Lattimore and his grandparents, Lester and Gladys Landefeld and Mitch and Florence Colvin, and mother-in-law, Joyce Stimpert.
 Friends will be received at Woodsfield Church of Christ, 860 Lewisville Road, Lewisville, Ohio, from 2 – 8 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, with Scott McFarland officiating.
 Burial will follow in Miltonsburg Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio.

 Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
