Alan Cruse, 48, of Woodsfield, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Cleveland Clinic in Canton.

He was born in Cuyahoga County, Jan. 30, 1975, a son of the late Marion Gene Cruse and Kathleen Smith Cruse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Randy Platz and Joel Lester.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Underwood Cruse, of Woodsfield; sons, Nathanial and Tyler Cruse; and siblings, Kathy Coffey, Bonnie Allen, Tammy, Bobbi Cruse and Billy Cruse.

There will be no visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were provided by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield.
