Alberta “Birdie” Philleman Stephen Kilburn, 92, went home to her Lord and Savior Oct. 13, 2022, at 6:11 a.m. in Tucson, Arizona.

She was born in Boston, Aug. 4, 1930, daughter of the late Lester Stephen and Jessie Carpenter Stephen, of Boston.

She married Ralph Emerson Kilburn in Lewisville, June 18, 1949. In 1960, they relocated to Arizona and were married for 67 years until the passing of Ralph, Jan. 21, 2016, in Tucson, Arizona.

Birdie is survived by two children, Larry Stephen Kilburn (Renee Kilburn) and Barbara Richeson (widow). She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Bishop, Jennifer Kilburn Dick, Dena Bishop Cline and Joseph Woznick. She has several great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters and another on the way. She is also survived by one brotherin- law, two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

There will not be any services. Alberta will be cremated, her ashes joined with her husband.
