Brent D. Ludwig, 68, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Valley Hospice Liza’s Place, Wheeling, W.V.
 He was born at Barnesville, Ohio, on September 10, 1956, a son of the late Philip and Shirley Crawford Ludwig.
 He was a 1975 graduate of Woodsfield High School, Woodsfield. After graduating high school, Brent entered the U.S. Air Force and honorably served as a Tech Sergeant during Desert Shield/Storm.
 He was a former employee of Boeing Corp. and a former civil service employee in the Washington D.C. area.
 Brent was an avid Ohio State fan and the Cleveland Browns.
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Ludwig and Glenn Ludwig; three nephews, Daniel Ludwig, Dalton Ludwig and Ridge Morris; a niece, Erica Sims.
 Surviving are two sons Christopher (Mariel) Ludwig, Stephen (Laurie) Ludwig; two brothers Brian (Diane) Ludwig, Philip (Pamela) Ludwig’ two sisters Ann Coultrip, Karen (Robert) Morris; one grandson Nathan Ludwig; two granddaughters Isabelle Ludwig, Elouise Ludwig; special friends Mark and Patty Haralson.
 There will be no visitation. Private graveside services and military honors will be held at Moffat Cemetery, Woodsfield.
