Carol Ann Lumbatis, 80, of Lewisville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the home of her son in Warsaw, Ohio. She was born in Akron, Ohio, December 31, 1943, a daughter of the late Richard and Gertrude Martin Garinger.
She was a member of Millwood Church of Christ. Carol was a Christian wife and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, but her most love was for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; John W. Lumbatis, three great-grandchildren, and sister; Janet Holt.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Deborah) Lumbatis of Nellie, Ohio, Douglas (Marie) Lumbatis of Howard, Ohio, Mark (Victoria) Lumbatis of Utica, Ohio, and Melanie (Danny) Bass of Conroe, Texas; brother Richard Garinger of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; sister Barbara Short of Lewisville, 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family wants to acknowledge her good friends Bob Smothers, Janice Ray, Debrina Colombo, Eugene Scott, and her cousins Betty King, Robin Bishop, Sharon Scott who stood by her until the end.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024, at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home. 100 S. Paul Street. Woodsfield, Ohio. with Steve Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville.
