CAROL EVELYN FUCHS

 Carol Evelyn Fuchs, 80, of Woodsfield, Ohio, formerly of Sardis, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, W.V.
 She was born April 28, 1944, in Clarington, Ohio, a daughter of the late Linus F. and Murga Shaffer Walters.
 She was a retired teacher’s aide with MACO, a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and a member of Order of the Eastern Star #533, Clarington.
 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Carlton (Barb) Walters, a sister, Lila (John) Williamson and in-laws, Leland Haught, Ned and Mary Boston, Judy and Charlie Isaly and Kenny Fuchs.
 Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Larry Fuchs; two sons, James Fuchs of Columbus, Ohio, and Eric (Melissa) Fuchs of Roanoke, Va.; one daughter, Jennifer (Brent) Isaly of Clarington; one sister, Louise Haught of Woodsfield; one brother, Fred (Joan) Walters of Hannibal, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Dianne (Tom) Nelms of Powhatan Point, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Bob (Linda) Fuchs of Hannibal; and six grandchildren, Andrew Ritchie, Katie, Peyton and Sarah Fuchs, and Cole and Trey Isaly; and several nieces and nephews.
 Family will receive friends on Thursday September 26, 2024, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Terry Pringle officiating.
 Eastern Star services will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at funeral home.
 Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Sardis.
 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Sardis Fire Department and Emergency Squad.
