Jim and Dee Lehman went to Westerville to see their granddaughter Stella Lee receive her award in writing.
Last night, my family attended an academic awards ceremony.
The setting and achieving of goals, both large and small, has been a major characteristic of the Monroe Theatre since it began its restoration process.
As I began preparing for yet another senior season full of all the milestones and ceremonies with our son, I couldn’t help but think of when I went on my senior trip to see the Emerald Isle for the first time.
Sitting here at the computer, I contemplate Mother’s Day memories.

Dangling Carrots“Letter for Ben here!”The postman’s call was less surprising this go-around, but I did find it a bit premature.“I wasn’t expecting this for another week or so,” I said taking the letter.“Well,” the postman replied, “it might be like this a lot the way things are going.”His response was a little too self-aware and on the nose and I didn’t particularly like it.
