The New Mat Red Hat ladies met for their Valentine Dinner on Thursday, Feb. 9. The tables were decorated with valentine décor. Linda Delong, the hostess, gave each a goodie bag of treats, along with prizes going to word search winner, Vivian, escorted by hubby, Wade Becker, the door prize to Kathy Beaver. Kathy Eckert led us in making a funny valentine along the line of “Mad Lives.” The Show and Tell gave us vintage valentines, from family, past schoolteachers, album of 1920, mom and dad valentines, framed Victorian greeting cards.

A Second Look

Students from the Sardis High School attended the concert given by the Marietta High School Band at the Woodsfield High School auditorium last Wednesday evening. Jake Taylor’s “Rail Splitters” from the radio station WMMN, Fairmont, West Virginia, appeared at the high school auditorium too.
