Southern Tier – Heidelberg

Heidelberg has always been considered a castle because it was built as a defensive structure on a hill, only reachable by climbing 135 steep steps. Palaces are designed for elegance, luxury and to display wealth and power. Castles did have bedrooms with an en suite and a chamber where they welcomed visitors. But the family lived in the English wing. The backyard of the castle includes auxiliary buildings for storage, stables, workshops and living quarters for servants.

Switzer News – May 8, 2025

I went to Nancy Jo Reynolds’ residence in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and stayed some after she came back after her operation. She is doing better each day. Doctor said it looks like everything went well and she is healing nicely. Just going to take time for all to heal.
